What is the difference between in-state and out-of-state residency?

Answer:

In-State vs. Out-Of-State Residency

You are classified as a Colorado resident or non-resident for tuition purposes based on the information you provide on your admissions application. Please see our Tuition webpage for more information about residency classification.

If you are in-state, you are eligible for College Opportunity Fund (COF), which helps pay your tuition costs.  Out-of-state students are not eligible for this funding.
