Applying for a Scholarship
The Financial Aid Office provides a wealth of information on scholarships available to students. We encourage students to look online as new scholarships are added regularly.
The RRCC Foundation awards need and merit-based scholarships to deserving students. Through a variety of programs and initiatives, the Foundation provides more than $500,000 in support to the College each year.
Check with your scholarship provider if you are uncertain of the enrollment requirements or if you would like to request a change in the requirement for a given term. Most scholarships are also not available in Summer term. Please visit our Scholarships webpage for more opportunities.
Applying for Scholarships Prior to Admission
For scholarships at RRCC, application before admission is available. This is not true for all schools however. In most cases you will apply for scholarships prior to March 1st for the upcoming academic year, but deadlines do vary. RRCC does offer Foundation Scholarships which are strictly for RRCC students (deadlines can vary). Please visit the Foundation webpage for more information.
There are outside or private scholarships that may have later deadlines, but typically you can start applying for most scholarships beginning January 1st for the upcoming Fall and Spring terms. Please visit our Scholarships webpage for more opportunities.
