Receiving Your Financial Aid

Financial aid is paid (disbursed) into eligible student accounts after the end of the add/drop period for each semester that financial aid is awarded. See drop/add deadlines in the current semester's printed schedule or online academic schedule.

If a credit balance is created due to the payment of financial aid, the Cashiers Office will process the credit balance and the student will receive a financial aid refund for the balance. RRCC uses Bank Mobile as the refund processor.

If you withdraw from courses after the drop/refund period, you are still responsible for completing your payments. You will not be dropped from your current semester’s classes if you fail to make payments on your deferred payment plan. However, a financial hold will be placed on your account, and you will be dropped from courses in future terms for which you have already enrolled. RRCC and a collection service will pursue unpaid balances and you will be held responsible for any collection charges. If you have a financial hold on your account, you are not eligible to register.
